A summer on The Academy of Arts’ Drama Ministry Team is unlike any other! The opportunities for spiritual and personal growth, fun, ministry, service, fellowship, and soul-winning, are almost unending. It’s no wonder a summer on the Drama Ministry Team has been described as “the summer of a lifetime!”

This NINE-WEEK TOUR begins with a TWO-WEEK TRAINING CAMP in Taylors, South Carolina. This two-week intensive training consists of rehearsals, team activities, and instruction in sound, lighting, costumes, and stage make-up.

After training camp, each team heads to a different area of the country – NORTHEAST or SOUTH – to PERFORM and MINISTER in churches. Teams will perform several times a week, and stay overnight with host families, allowing the team TO MINISTER AND BE MINISTERED to by families of the church.

The summer tour concludes with both teams returning to Taylors, South Carolina for a BANQUET AND AWARDS CEREMONY, where stories are shared, testimonies are given, awards are conferred and GOD IS PRAISED.

Each summer proves invaluable as team members and leaders GROW CLOSER TO THE LORD, and HIS WORD! It is remembered by most as a time of HEART-SEARCHING, SPIRITUAL GROWTH, and LASTING FRIENDSHIPS.
