Hurricane Helene Update

Thank you for your patience as we have all had to navigate the damages caused by Hurricane Helene in the Taylors/Greenville, SC area! Our area has been impacted in a way that many would say we have never seen before!

Our leadership team has been meeting daily to discuss the best path forward given new information coming out each day!

We are so thankful for the countless gas station, fast food, power line, and grocery store workers that have labored tirelessly to support the community during this time where fear can often reign supreme.

While it appears that we are coming “out of the woods” from the deadly effects of this storm, the entire area is still experiencing cellular dropouts, internet outages, downed trees across roads, and continued power outages. The City of Greenville is still recommending that people avoid being on the roads due to the various stop light outages occurring all around our facilities.

Considering this information, the leadership team of The Academy of Arts Logos Theatre has made the difficult decision to reschedule the performances of The Secret Garden to December 2024 and reschedule the performances of The Christmas Child to July 2025 for a joyous “Christmas in July” celebration.

The rescheduled performances will be:
The Secret Garden
Thursday, December 5th – 10:30am
Friday, December 6th – 7:00pm
Saturday, December 7th – 2pm & 7pm
Tuesday, December 17th – 10:30am
Thursday, December 19th – 7:00pm
Friday, December 20th – 2pm & 7pm
Saturday, December 21st – 2pm & 7pm

The Christmas Child
Friday, July 18th – 7pm
Saturday, July 19th – 2pm & 7pm
Friday, July 25th – 7pm
Saturday, July 26th – 2pm & 7pm

Our team acknowledges that no solution would be absolutely perfect for everyone and we pray that you would continue to be patient and gracious with us as we seek to provide a solution that would be the best for as many as possible.

We praise the Lord for the safety of our staff and students and their families and continue to pray for all whose homes and families have been impacted by this storm!

We do currently have power at our facilities, but we still do not have internet and have been told that it could be several days before we see internet restored.

Our desire is to get everyone’s tickets rescheduled to these new dates as soon as possible, so we will have limited phone lines available on Wednesday, October 2nd. We do ask for your patience as our capacity for phone calls will be greatly limited, but our representatives will be trying to reach everyone in as timely a manner as possible!

We thank you for your understanding as we strive to make decisions that prioritize your safety, while continuing to provide family-values productions that challenge and encourage.
